The Old Whale Rules (May-June)

30 POUNDS IN 3 MONTHS 
RULES AND CHALLENGES
(Note: These rules are now only for reference to older posts and no longer apply to things after June. New rules posted for January 2015 work out goals)  

 An indicates an individual challenge is still yet to be completed.
A indicates that an individual challenge has been completed.
No existing challenges can be deleted. 
No existing challenges can be altered unless stakes are upped.
New challenges may be added whenever The Whale sees fit.
All challenges must be completed by the stated date or reward becomes invalid. 
Jobs do count towards and must be factored into "physical activity" challenges if 2/3 of time is spent standing, walking, or lifting.
Walk/run challenges also count towards "physical activity" challenges. 
The use of scales is not allowed unless at doctor's office. 
Always keep progress tab updated to best of knowledge. 




May 19 (1 day). Take initial measurements of waist and hips.
May 20 (1 day). Initial weight taken at doctors with check up.
May 21-June 7 (14 days) do a walk/run combination for at least 1 mile in 30 minutes. Wake up at 6:30am. Leave by 7:00am. Complete at 7:30am. Three freebie days. 
Begin walk/run combination for at least 1 mile in 30 minutes challenge. 
May 23-June 9 (18 days) every day write a new blog post of at least one paragraph detailing any challenges attempted/completed/failed from that day/since last post. Include any food and drink that was consumed throughout the day.

May 21-empty (30 days) Take one Phentermine pill in the morning before breakfast everyday until the 30 pill bottle is empty. 
Begin Phentermine challenge. 
May 23-May 30 (7 days) Log at least 30 hours of physical activity.  
May 31-June 8 (9 days) Log at least 20 hours of physical activity. 
June 1 (1 day) second measurements of waist and hips. 
DOCTOR CHECK IN. SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT BEFORE JUNE 8TH. 
June 13 (1 day) create new walk/run challenges and physical activity challenges factoring in new work hours and location. 
June 16 (1 day) third measurements of waist and hips. 
June 30 (1 day) fourth measurements of waist and hips. 
July 14 (1 day) fifth measurements of waist and hips. 
July 28 (1 day) sixth measurements of waist and hips. 
August 4th (1 day) seventh measurements of waist and hips. 
DOCTOR CHECK IN. SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT BETWEEN AUGUST 6-17
August 18th (1 day) eighth measurements of waist and hips. 
August 24th. Final weigh in and measurements of waist and hips. 
August 24th lose at least 30 pounds since initial weight on May 20th.
