Ayo! Happy hump day!
This week really has been something, lemme tell ya. But I suppose like a lot of things, its easy to start a new routine but keeping it up is tough. I think I might be at that awkward hump period where the initial excitement has worn off and I'm still not quite into the new swing of things yet. But I know that if I don't give up, it will get easier soon....
at least I hope....
Today was busy, busy, busy! I hit the ground running and had to start running errands starting early in the day. Then right after I was done, I spend a few hours trying to bring some relief to my disaster zone bedroom. Woof. That was rough.
Then right after that, I got to go sit and play candy crush at my sister's graduation. Hey, she was like the fifth one across the stage and I had 24 letters left to go. Nobody was gonna care that I wasn't paying attention....
anyway, the day didn't really allot much time for a run, but I wasn't sitting around on my ass all day. It also poured out most of the day and ain't nobody got time for pneumonia.
But also, the sluggishness is still hitting me hard. I woke up with a killer headache and some shakiness. I know it has something to do with hardly eating a thing yesterday which was a total bad move. That Phentermine stuff ain't joking!
So I tried to stay way more conscious about it today, chowing down on a bagel for breakfast and a bag of baby carrots around lunch. After the kid's graduation, we went to yet another restaurant and I had this small half chicken pita sandwich thing called a Hani that was tasty, filled me up just enough, and wasn't too much. It was the very meaning of moderation on tasty things. Afterwards I shared a rice pudding with my mother which totally hit the spot.
